Esteemed Master of Ceremonies, Liezel van der Westhuizen is without any doubts a dynamic South African media personality, with credentials that are as tall as her play on Giraf brand alignment. Known for her work as a television presenter, radio host, voice-over artist, and master of ceremonies (MC) with a career spanning more than a decade, she has become a familiar face and voice across South Africa’s entertainment and lifestyle industries.
Mdzananda Animal Clinic’s Gala Dinner will be hosted by her as MC on the 10th of May 2025, and you are invited. Be it you are an animal lovers or a philanthropist, the second annual Mdzananda Animal Clinic Gala Dinner and Auction is set to awe you at the Two Oceans Aquarium, in support of the animals of Khayelitsha and it’s surrounding areas.
Kelly, Fundraiser at Mdzananda Animal Clinic, says:
“Last year, we had a sold-out first Gala Dinner to raise funds for all the animals of Khayelitsha. This year, we have added extra seats and hope to sell out again. The more support we receive, the more donations we can raise to help the animals in need.”
Tables seat 10 guests, and individual bookings are welcome. The animal clinic says guests who do not book a full table will be seated with fellow supporters who share their passion for animal welfare.
According to Mdzananda Animal Clinic, the evening will feature:
- A two-course dinner and a sweet treat for dessert
- Complimentary table wine to toast to a great cause
- An auction featuring exclusive items and experiences, and
- The opportunity to connect with fellow animal lovers, all while making a real impact on the lives of animals in need.
Tickets can be bought HERE or by emailing fund@mdzananda.co.za.
The clinic says all proceeds from the evening will go towards providing essential veterinary care, shelter and community education to improve the lives of Khayelitsha’s pets and their owners.
Businesses who wish to support the event by booking a table can reach out to Kelly at fund@mdzananda.co.za.
Mdzananda Animal Clinic concludes by inviting people to join it for a night of fine dining, entertainment, and philanthropy, which contributes to helping while making a difference for the animals of Khayelitsha.
