Ferna Tech is a Cape Town–based venture and design studio built to help founders from Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to investment-ready through design, dev, and strategic mentorship. Led by Cheyenne Fernánda Miller, the company has built over 200 digital products, supported 40+ founders, and made impact through community events and investment-stage programming. Their unique model integrates technical delivery with founder empowerment and global ecosystem access.

Ferna Technologies’ core offerings are grouped into three pillars:

  • 1. Design & Development Studio:  Focused on world-class UX/UI, product engineering, and building digital experiences that attract and retain users
  • 2. Strategic Advisory : Providing go‑to‑market planning, business strategy, and venture guidance to de‑risk startup investments and support both founder and corporate innovation
  • 3. Venture Acceleration & Founder Programs: Offering curated founder education, investor introductions, and global exposure via delegates, masterclasses, and ecosystem partnerships like Web Summit.

The company has a growing list of accolades and successes, one stand out for me is that it has hosted one of the first Black Tech Meetups at Web Summit Lisbon and delivered a masterclass titled “Building a $16M fund & accelerating Pan-African success”.

With customers that include startups like Lupiya (Zambian neo‑bank) and Togethr (LGBTQ+ platform), as well as corporate clients and venture partners seeking innovation at startup speed, one can not deny that Cheyenne Fernánda is a South African woman of the Future.

Cheyenne Fernánda (also known as Cheyenne Fernanda Miller), is a multi‑award‑winning product director and venture strategist and a finalist at the Santam Women of the Future Awards.

She served in product strategy roles for Pan‑African accelerator programs, notably at MultiChoice Accelerate Africa (2022–2023), where she helped founders raise over USD 16M. She is a delegate ambassador for One Young World and has spoken on major stages like Web Summit Lisbon, advocating for Black and underrepresented founders.

Cheyenne built Ferna Tech from scratch without external funding in a lean team structure, laying the foundation of the company on intentional strategy and founder design support. Her company is Purpose-led & culture-forward. Making her a great candidate for your vote.
