The Proteas are inviting South Africans to stand together in pink as the team prepares to bring one of cricket’s most recognisable awareness initiatives :  Proteas Pink Day.

The 2026/27 Proteas Pink Day ODI will once again turn the cricket stands pink in support of breast cancer awareness, bringing together players, supporters and communities around a cause that reaches well beyond the boundary. It is more than a themed match day, Pink Day has become an important part of the Proteas’ calendar, using the visibility and collective energy of cricket to encourage conversations around breast cancer and show solidarity with those affected by it.

At the heart of the initiative is the simple act of wearing pink. The 2026 Proteas Pink Day ODI Replica Jersey has been introduced in the signature Pink Day colourway, giving supporters an opportunity to participate in the occasion while carrying a little piece of the Proteas tradition beyond match day. Featuring the Proteas Cricket crest, South designed detailing and a bold pink design, the replica is designed for supporters who want to stand with the team and the wider Pink Day movement.

With the Pink Day ODI bringing supporters together in the stands, the jersey becomes part of the visual language of the initiative as a sea of pink representing awareness, solidarity and South African cricket. It is less about simply wearing a team shirt and more about showing up for a moment that asks cricket fans to stand together around something bigger than the game. The 2026 Proteas Pink Day ODI Replica Jersey is available to purchase online, with an RRP ranging from R1,099.90 to R1,199.90.

Supporters can get theirs ahead of Pink Day and join the Proteas in turning the stands pink for breast cancer awareness.

The pink is back. Wear it. Stand together. Make a difference.
