This is not a review but it looks like Axe is repositioning itself with the launch of its Fine Fragrance Collection, a move that signals a shift toward more refined, expressive, and accessible scent experiences for everyday wear.

The collection taps into a generation increasingly focused on authenticity and self-presentation. Grooming is no longer just functional; it’s part of how young men show up, connect, and express confidence. Axe leans into this with a hybrid approach, combining the sophistication of fine fragrance with the practicality of deodorant.

Each product is designed for performance, said to be offering up to 72-hour freshness through zinc-based odour control, while remaining aluminium-free and gentle on skin. With blends of over 20 essential oils, the scents are layered to evolve subtly throughout the day.

The range includes five fragrances, each aligned to a different mood: from the crisp, citrus-led Aqua Bergamot to the warm, spiced depth of Black Vanilla, the calm refinement of Blue Lavender, the woody intensity of Copper Santal, and the light, clean finish of White Oak.

With this release, Axe moves beyond its previous identity into something more considered, reflecting a generation that values intention, ease, and visible confidence.

The collection is rolling out nationwide at major retailers, and since I’ve already seen some influencer content around this announcement so the roll-out is definitely in motion.
